Now Is not The Time To Dream
4. March 2009 by admin.
Last Sunday I read a disturbing reader quote in the Hartford Courant. These are not the times to have such thoughts.
The reader wrote, “Now’s not the time to dream, we’re all in survival mode.”
I totally disagree. Now is the time we must dream more. Without dreaming nothing great would ever be achieved. All great ideas first started as a dream, something that was first created in our imagination.
I believe the writer thought of “dreaming” as idle day dreaming and wishful thinking. That is not how I see dreams. Dreams are our subconscious’ way of communicating to us. We just need to listen more clearly to what is being said.
Most of us are living in a survival mode even in the very best of times. Those living in a survival mode can be referred to as the walking dead. Do you want to go throughout your life in survival mode or do you want to become part of the 3% club and break free and have the life you truly deserve?
That will only happen when you reclaim your ability to dream. When you start dreaming again, dream big. That is the best way to achieve big results. With a little effort you can even train yourself to remember your dreams and put those dreams into action steps.
Before you go to bed at night tell yourself that you want an answer to … Then in the morning or when you wake up, write down what first pops into your mind. Quite often this will be the answers to your question.
Dreaming is a very powerful success mechanism, use it every day. There is a program, actually it is a membership site, which helps you to train your mind to work harder for you. It is very inexpensive and the tools they provide are priceless.
