The Power of Two

The Power of Two

I used to ask myself almost daily, “What do I want to do when I grow up?”  Then one day I finally said, enough is enough already, “What do I want to do with my life?  If I keep asking and never sit down and listen I will never learn why I am here and what am I supposed to be doing with my life and what contribution to the world am I supposed to make?”

You see, we are all here to make a contribution, no matter how insignificant it may seem to others.

“Make your work to be in keeping with your purpose.” Leonardo da Vinci, the renowned Italian painter, sculptor and engineer.

If you have been keeping up with my blog you will notice that there is a central theme and that I keep repeating some things over and over.  That is for a purpose.

Part of the learning process requires that to make an idea your own, you must hear, feel, smell, see, or verbalize it at least 6 times.  That is why having video on your website is so very powerful, it uses more of your senses than any other medium.   (Yes, I will soon have some videos.)

OK, so have you written down your ideal day yet?  Have you discovered your passion or at least one of your passions?  Have you decided what contribution(s) you want to make to the universe?  If you have done these and you are ready to move on to the next step, let me know at gary@garygile.com.

If you don’t want to let me know, that’s OK.  You just will not progress as quickly as you would if you shared your aspirations with another.  If you have ever watched the show “Charmed” then you will know about the power of three.  “Charmed” is a cute show about 3 good witches.  However, their power to use good to fight evil works only when the 3 of them use their power together.  One alone is not enough strength to win.

Throughout history the concept of two or more working together can accomplish much more than one working by themselves and the result are exponential.  So  2 people working together does not give the results of two people working separately.  The results are much greater.

To succeed at your business, having a mentor and/or others to help you will make your success come much faster and greater.  So if you are like me and you don’t have the money to buy a franchise and hire people to run your business, you will need to rely on the help of others and to leverage your time.

One suggestion I have in this area is to make use of the power of network marketing and the power of the Internet.  The right combination of those two resources will help you greatly in your journey to success.
