Forgiveness
19. August 2008 by admin.
I always thought that when I forgave someone, I was allowing them back into my life or condoning what they did. I have since learned that is not the case.We can never change the past. We can not live in the past (or the future for that matter). There is nothing we can do about the past. When we hold onto anger or hate toward someone else we are trying to keep the past in the present. It can’t be done. It can only do harm to us in our present.
Previously I made reference to the book “Happy For No Reason”. It has a very good section on forgiveness. Marci Shimoff says that when we forgive, we are actually letting go of our past and allowing us to heal. So forgiving is more for us than the person being forgiven. Actually, we don’t even have to say to the other person that we are forgiving them. We just need to say it for our sake, (and actually mean it).
So, why am I talking about forgiveness when I said I would be sharing ideas with you about how you can become more successful online and make a great living using the power of the Internet?
To truly succeed, you need to “BE” the whole picture. By that I mean, you can’t just focus on making a lot of money when you are angry or hold resents or have grudges, or any other type of energy draining activity. Once you find the work that you are passionate about, you must be a happy person with no excess baggage from your past that might drag you down.
When you love life and love living and have love for everyone and everything then you will attract love energy to you. Your mind will be clearer. You will get more done in less time and you will enjoy doing it. Best of all, you will experience more success and therefore more happiness, which is what you want most of all.
Oh, did I mention that the money will come more easily when you are not worrying about money. (Funny how that Law of Attraction works.) Note: you don’t have to believe in the Law of Attraction in order for it to work for you. You don’t have to believe in gravity either. Yet the Law of Gravity and Attraction are out there working for us anyway.
Main point: get rid of all of your negative thoughts, put a smile on your face and be happy for no reason. Now finish up writing down “Your Ideal Day” and “What you are Passionate about”.
What you write down about your passion(s) does not have to be your ultimate passion. You will discover that as you progress on our journey to happiness that what you are passionate about will expand to what you actually want to share with others in order to enrich their lives.
“Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.” J.M. Barrie, 19th century Scottish novelist.
