Expectation -

I subscribe to too many things.  It’s an addiction I have.  I figure the more I learn, the more I will know, the more I will be able to help others.  However, somewhere in that equation I must also take action or all of the knowledge in the world won’t help you succeed.

Anyway, below is a quote from Abraham in the series of Abraham-Hicks.  You can sign up for their free daily quotes at [1] http://www.abraham-hicks.com/lawofattractionsource/index.php.

Expectation indicates the juncture between where you are and where you want to be… Where you want to be, is your desire, and where you are, is your Set-point or habit of thought. And somewhere, in there, is what we would call expectation. Expectation, whether it is wanted or unwanted, is a powerful point of attraction… Your expectation is always what you believe. But the word expectation does imply more what you are wanting than what you are not wanting. It is a more positive word than it is a negative word, but of course, you could expect negatively—and whatever you expect, you will get!

Our Love,
Jerry and Esther”

Much of what they talk about has to do with “what you focus on will become what you have”.  When you focus on “I can’t…”  you will get “I don’t have…”

We all have a choice:

·         We can choose to change and grow

·         We can choose to stay the same

·         We can choose to do nothing, which defaults to “stay the same”

There is a saying, I am sure you have heard it before, “If you continue to do what you have always done you will continue to get what you have always gotten.”

As I mentioned earlier, TIME is our most valuable possession.  We all have the same 24 hours in our day.  You can choose to continue on your current path and you will be in the same place in 5 years that you are in today.  You can choose to do the things other successful people do that unsuccessful people are unwilling to do and your life will be so much better 5 years from now.

Which ever choice you make the 5 years will go by.  Would you like to be the person in your ideal day you wrote about from my first blog, 5 years from now?  Or would you like to be the same person in your mirror you see today, 5 years from now, only much older looking than the other you 5 years from now?  The choice is yours.  What will you choose?

Gary
